SERENDIPITY
: means 'a chance meeting with a positive
outcome', which is just what happened when Stuart
Anderson & Lyn Fredrick met and decided
to combine their talents into the band that is now Serendipity.
SUCCESS : Their first
gig was in June 2006 & they have worked more or less continuously since then
building an ever growing reputation for quality musical
entertainment.
CLIENTS : Oxford Hotels & Inns - Resident band at The George Hotel, Colchester. Elizabeth Orwell Hotel, Felixstowe. Numerous golf clubs including Royal Epson, Lexden Wood - Colchester, Stowmarket, Thetford, Brickenden Grange - Herts. Vyella at Williams and Griffin - Colchester, Friends of Colchester Co-op, Debenhams - Oxford Street & Colchester. Other Commercial Clients include Aldi Stores Ltd (see Aldi Page for more details). PARTY
BAND : If you are having a party you won't
be disappointed by booking Serendipity. Their versatility means they
have played successful parties for 18 year olds and 80 year olds. Anniversaries,
special occasions, family get together's, Christmas, corporate events are all

SONGS : Serendipity
have a musical repertoire which runs into the hundreds & includes classic
songs from the 60s right up to recent chart hits. From the Beatles
to the Black Eyes Peas. Frank Sinatra to the Fratellis! Their styles
cover jazz, blues, funk, pop, rock & reggae!
If appropriate they can include a mini country
set or their popular Mini Madness Tribute - complete
with hats and shades.
With Lyn's skill on the saxophone you can always expect to hear Baker Street, Pick up the Pieces, Sweet Home Chicago & Will You by Hazel O'Connor. Also listen out for their haunting flute arrangement on Fields of Gold.
