Kimberley - the New Manager of the Brandon Store, near Thetford, was determined also to have Serendipity play at the opening of her new store on 12th July. So we took another day off and this time were set and ready to play
After a couple of verses of 'Shopping all Over the World' the store was official opened by the Town Mayor. We then played for 3 and a half hours non-stop. It was great because there was always a queue for the free fruit and we therefore always had an audience. Many people wrote lovely comments on our comments sheet and we made lots of new friends. We were also asked to sing 'Happy Birthday' to a lady celebrating her 82nd Birthday - and looking very well on it.
Kimberley said that Serendipity's contribution to the day exceeded all her expectations and all customers and staff were very impressed. She wrote the following endorsement : -
