CAMBRIDGE
The refurbished and extended Aldi Cambridge store opening was on 2 April 2009 - which was also Lyn's Birthday. Despite a misty start to the day there was a good crowd present to witness the official opening by Store Manager Simon Coulson at 9am. The staff handed out free samples to all the customers and the music was applauded and appreciated throughout the day. (In fact the Cambridge customers bought no less than 8 CDs during the day). Also Serendipity fan Andy Healey, biked up on his BMW all the way from Gravesend to add his support and lend his motor bike for a photo shoot. Everyone also sang 'Happy Birthday' to Lyn on the hour and Stuart gave her an extra pressie - some fresh flowers from the store.
