KINGSBURY, LONDON, NW9

Area Manager, Andreas Grolik, celebrated his 29th Birthday on 23 July 2009, by opening his newly converted store in Kingsbury, after a manic 4 day refit. The Mayor of Brent, Cllr Jim O'Sullivan, cut the ribbon at 9am to an eager crowd of shoppers who kept the tills ringing all day. As usual there were plenty of Area Managers on hand to lend their support. Some helped shoppers with their packing and others gave out hot drinks and biscuits.

In a first for Serendipity, Stuart performed solo as Lyn enjoyed a well earnt break in Turkey. He was ably assisted by his daughter Miriam, who was roadie for the day. Stuart set up inside the store in case of rain, (good move) and used his new Tyros keyboard for the first time. He also performed outside the front of the store to the queing customers and passers by.
