SUDBURY

Aldi Sudbury re-opened to the public on Thursday 18 September 2008. Prior to 9am, the queue spread right to end of the car park and was one of the biggest ever seen at an Aldi opening. Despite the amazing bargains available and the bottles of free wine given to the first 30 customers, there were no chaotic scenes witnessed at the opening of a competitors store in Southall, West London on the same day! The store was officially opened by the Major of Sudbury who thanked all the Aldi staff for working so hard to make the store such an asset to the town.

"Thanks for you help with our grand opening. The staff and customers loved the music and the great atmosphere you helped create made he day an overwhelming success". Austin, Aldi Sudbury Store Manager
