and sorry for writing another newsletter
so soon after the last one, but we wanted to
share some fantastic news with you ......
WE GOT A WORLD CRUISE!!!!!!!!!
We would like to say a big thank you to Simon Skinner of Brittany Ferries for releasing us from the contract we had signed and freeing us to join the P&O Cruise ship Oriana for the next 3 months.
This coming Monday evening at 8.30pm we will be taking off from London Heathrow on the above Boeing 747-400. (Click on the plane to find out more about this Brtish Airways plane). We arrive 5pm the next day in Singapore where we will spend an evening in a hotel, before joining the ship the next day.
Oriana ...
... will be our home for the next 3 months at least. It entered service in 1995 after being launched by Her Majesty the Queen. 60,000 gross tons, 10 decks, 800 crew, capacity for 1,928 passengers.

Bon Voyage ...
... It's been a good 3 weeks back in the UK, reconciling with friends and family. Stuart worked at his old office in London for 5 days, and enjoyed meeting everyone there again and doing some 'proper work'. he was grateful to stay at his good friend Craig and Sharon's house and play chess and fly on Craig's awesome flight simulator.
Lyn has spent time with her sons and made her house spotless. She discovered her mini disk player had broken when we tried it out and one of her clever sons fixed it!
