EVERYONE'S A WINNER ...
The first 2 weeks on board The Oceana, ended with a great party in The Winners Bar, where we have been the resident band for the duration of the cruise. We have made some lovely new friends and had some brilliant evenings spent in their company.

It's also been very encouraging to play a few of the songs we have written this year and to have them be so well received.

Here is a selection of just some of our new friends from the first cruise and life in The Winners Bar.

GUEST BOOK ...
We have carried on with our guest book too and have really appreciated all the amazing support encouragements and comments from all the passengers. We have listed some of the comments below to remind us of how lucky we are to be doing the job we are doing.

LIFE ON SHIP ...
We are nicely settled into life on ship, although it's still strange starting work at 9.45pm every night. Sometimes we have a siesta in the afternoon to ensure we are on form for the evening. We play 3 x 45 min sets each night, finishing at 12.30. It is definitely taking a bit longer to calm down at the end of the gig as we are a bit hyper after the perfomance. Often we stop and chat with the pasengers for a while, or have a drink and watch some TV. The other night we joined the star cabaret - Maxine Mazumder and Dennis Walker in 'Le Club' for a bit of a boogie till the early hours.

Late nights mean that often means that we wake up at late in the morning as we did today at 12.oo noon. So our body clocks are a little all over the place.

For the first 2 weeks we have certainly enjoyed our food. It is said that it's easy to put on a pound a day and so it's time to get to the gym for Stuart who has now started trying to work off the extra half a stone he is carrying already.

LIFE'S A BEACH ...
We are currently in Cadiz - doing the same Med Cruise but in reverse this time. Cadiz is one of our favourite places. The last few times we have now enjoyed some amazing traditional flamenco dancing in a small Spanish bar. Today we are off to the beach again though. We have not gone on as many organised tours as tour escorts but enjoyed Barcelona Beach by ourselves. Stuart has discovered that swimming in the sea is most refreshing too and did that in Barcelona and also in Monaco.

Our only concern at the moment is where we will be on 25th October when we have to leave the Oceana at the end of this contract. We will let you know news of that ASAP as we are critically are of the need to let people know if we are going to be able to fulfill the bookings we have in the diary for the rest of the year. Watch this space!

We would love to hear from you and catch up with your news. Please e-mail us at emailserendipity@yahoo.co.uk

Whilst we have been away Stuart's 2nd eldest son Matthew got engaged to his long term GF - Kelly. It was amazing to find that out in Livorno and to be able to chat to them both on Face Book. That's all for now from us though. We hope you are well enjoyed reading our news today.
